-  2612  -  SCIENCE  DISCOVERIES - in 2018 range from strange Schrödinger’s-cat situations to mysteries of water to impossible particles flying up from the Antarctic ice.   Particle physics proved that there are many unknowns in the universe for us to explore?
-
-  2613  -  SUNSPOTS  -  The Sun is supposed to follow 11-year cycles of minimum and maximum activity that should trace set patterns pretty much like clockwork, give or take weaker and stronger sunspot patterns, flares, and periods of coronal mass ejections.  That is what I learned in High School.  So, what’s going on?
 -
-  2614  -  SPACE  -  can space be warped?   The predictions of Einstein’s general theory of relativity is that any spinning body drags the very fabric of space-time in its vicinity around with it. This is known as “frame-dragging”.  Or, how space can be warped. Traveling in a straight line is not straight.
-
-  2615  -   UNIVERSE -  how it is changing?  New events continually occur throughout the entire observable Universe. Despite all appearances that things don't change very much, particularly on cosmic scales, our planet, the Solar System, the galaxy, and even the entire Universe all undergo significant changes that are not only detectable, but that cumulatively add up as time goes on.?
-
-  2616  -  GRAVITY  -  do we really understand it?  We have atoms in matter, why not in space-time?  Our ancient ancestors believed there were atoms in matter long before anyone could discover atoms.  It just made sense to them that there is a smallest bit of matter that can not be divided any further.  The idea of the atom was that it was indivisible.  Why not the same concept for space-time?
 -
-  2617  -  GRAVITY  -    what are gravity waves?  -   Mass in motion creates gravity waves.  The theory of Relativity explains gravity as a warping of the geometry of spacetime.  Einstein explained gravity as a geometry of spacetime like a rubber sheet and the mass like a heavy ball in the center.
-
-  2618  -  SUN  -  learning closer than ever?  The Solar Orbiter spacecraft, a collaboration between the European Space Agency and NASA, launched February 9, 2020.   On January 29, NASA's Parker Solar Probe made its closest swing pass the sun to date, a record it will continue to break until 2025. We have been studying the sun for a thousand years.  Learning is closer that ever!
-
-  2619  - NEUTRINOS  -  and other mysterious particles?  Our best model of particle physics is being challenged with the weirdness a series of strange events in Antarctica. Strange results from laboratory experiments suggest a ghostly new species of neutrinos beyond the three described in the Standard Model. And the universe seems full of dark matter that no particle in the Standard Model can explain.
-
-   2620  -  UNIVERSE  -  Stages of life for the Universe.   In the beginning, there was nothing until 13.7 billion years ago, the universe formed. We still don't know the exact conditions under which this happened, and whether there was a time before time. But using telescope observations and models of particle physics, researchers have been able to piece together a rough timeline of major events in the life of the Universe

- 2621 - NANOTECHNOLOGY  -   in quantum mechanics.? - Today nanotechnology is being used by countless universities and corporations to create products that will be entering the commercial markets, soon.  Nanotechnology will be found in information technology, communications, biology, medicine, and energy.  You will likely see the changes in biology and medicine first.
-
-  2622  -   NANOTECHNOLOGY  -  solar cells from nanowires?    Energy is the number one problem we will face in the next few decades. This year the world uses 14,500,000,000,000 watts of power.  Most of this energy is generated using gas and oil.  Only 1 % of our energy comes from solar, wind, or geothermal.  In the year 2050 we will be using somewhere at least 30,000,000,000,000 watts of electricity.
  -
-  2623  - -  NANOTUBE  -  how to build a radio?  A whole new radio has been invented using nanotechnology.  The radio is so small it cannot be seen without the aid of a microscope.  The radio is a single carbon nanotube that is much smaller than a wavelength of light.
-
-  2624  -   GOVERNMENT   -    How much does the government spend and where does the money go in 201  My ie handles the family budget.  I worry about the big things.
-
-  2625  -   EULER’S FORMULA  - Topology for 6th Graders ?  Euler’s formula applies to all types of solids and surfaces and it is not always equal to 2.  A different equation will define a different type of solid.  Let’s take a donut for example.  This category of shape is called a “torus”, but the donut is more familiar.
